As a solo practitioner and family law attorney, I work for myself and my clients.  No one else.   Residents of southeastern New York benefit from my skill at handling divorce and family matters, preparing wills, administering probate, advising in the areas of trusts and elder law, and establishing and helping to administer guardianships and.

I primarily serve clients in Kingston, Saugerties, New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Catskill, Delhi, Margaretville, Goshen, Newburgh, Middletown as well as all other locations in Ulster, Dutchess, Greene, Delaware, Columbia Orange and Sullivan counties

Family law is my primary practice area, and I’m good at it.   I have good relationships with other attorneys in the area.  I am well rooted in the community, and bring this perspective of longevity to my practice.   In sum, I understand how to help clients take action to ensure their long-term well-being in family law,  elder law and a host of related matters.

Clients who come to see me truly spend their time with me: not with office staff or others who don’t know their cases the way I will. 

Divorce Child Custody Attorney

I am often successful at helping divorcing clients to communicate in a mature and productive manner with their soon-to-be-ex-spouses to reduce animosity and protect relationships with their children.  I assist my clients to formulate a parenting plan that will work best for them.

Child support orders are most frequently obtained in family court.  As I am well experienced at walking my clients through all the steps involved in establishing and enforcing child support orders, I am able to put them at ease and facilitate a smooth process.

Guardianships & Elder Law

Guardianships involve the establishment of the same kind of control and protection that someone with a power of attorney would have in the legal affairs of an elderly person who can’t handle their own affairs anymore.  I have experience and great interest in helping my clients through this sensitive area.  I also write wills, and living wills; I probate estates, and advise on asset protection.

In addition, as part of my general practice, I often assist clients with real estate closings,  landlord / tenant issues and other real property and miscellaneous matters.
